Ururangi Childrens Tihatī
Ururangi Childrens Tihatī
Ururangi is one of the nine stars in the Matariki cluster, and it plays a vital role in understanding the winds and their direction. Positioned as the highest star in the Matariki group, Ururangi holds significant importance.
In Māori pūrākau, the wind is governed by the powerful atua, Tāwhirimātea. Winds can range from fierce and destructive to calm and beneficial. Ururangi serves as a guide, helping us interpret these winds, reminding us of the need to respect and care for te taiao.
All kākahu has been designed by River Jayden and will be printed on ASColour.
